Re: Anthony Joshua
He's from Watford so wouldn't think so.

Bloke needs to stop fighting these stiffs, though.

Re: Anthony Joshua
Problem he has at heavyweight is the whole division is shit. No matter who he beats people will moan they are poor opponents.

Re: Anthony Joshua
Not really true though, Paolo...

Dillian Whyte, David Price, Hughie Fury, Rudenko, Lucas Browne, Dereck Chisora, Povetkin, Pulev? All plausible opponents?

Tyson Fury if he fancies a challenge?

Re: Anthony Joshua
He looks good, but never fought a lump like himself or gone more than 4 rounds. Impressive at the minute but he needs a step up in opponent and rounds.

Can remember Lennox's corner telling him when to knock his opponent out in the early days.
One fight he was pleading with them to let him knock the fella out but they said no, one more round. Surprise surprise he went the next round.

Re: Anthony Joshua
Like I said the division is shit, he could take all them out and he has only had 11 fights.

Haywards Iron 12:16 Sun Apr 5
Re: Anthony Joshua
Oh yeah I'm not denying he's a real talent. Just don't really see the point in these fights, we learn absolutely nothing.

Re: Anthony Joshua
Paolo, they'd definitely put up a sterner test than Jason fucking Gavern though.

Re: Anthony Joshua
He'll easily win a world title. Its a shame really as i cant really see him being tested by anyone. The heavyweight division is probably the poorest i ever remember

Re: Anthony Joshua
A big if obviously, but should David Haye come back, his mobility would cause Joshua all sorts of problems.

Don't see how people can be saying he beats Klitschko now either.

Re: Anthony Joshua
Ain't the corner bloke for a few of them West Ham, hence the crossed hammers?

Think a few on here know him...

penners28 12:31 Sun Apr 5
Re: Anthony Joshua
Haywards, i think he'd beat either of them now. Not when they were in their prime mind you.

Re: Anthony Joshua
Joshua us the real deal although he hasn't really took a punch yet.

Him and Haye would be a great match up

Re: Anthony Joshua
I'm not sure he'd beat Wilder.

I did think it, as I wasn't sure about Wilder's boxing ability, but I thought he was excellent in his last fight.

Went to the same gym as Anthony Joshua in Finchley. Watched him and Tyson Fury spar (going 3-4 years maybe back) and he looked very comfortable.

He is definitely the real deal, would love to see him fight a more talented opponent!
